Leaper vs. Riidak — Heritage of Loss

This piece serves as visual development and promotional artwork for the dark fantasy novel Heritage of Loss, written by Arden Emil.

The goal of this project was pure world-building. I wanted to take the lore of the book and anchor it in a cinematic and epic visual reality. Capturing the desperate tension of the chase between Leaper and Riidak grounds the mythical elements and the harsh, wintery environment in a gritty truth.

To build out a world like this is to believe that imagination still matters. It is always a worthy endeavor to help visualize a fantasy story that deserves to be told, and to leave a piece of that creativity behind.
