Lirah and Riidak — Heritage of Loss

Fantasy storytelling through art still has power. This piece serves as promotional artwork for the dark fantasy novel Heritage of Loss, written by Arden Emil. The goal of this project was pure world-building, taking the rich lore of the book and anchoring it in a cinematic, epic visual reality. The intention is for it to feel like an authentic artifact pulled directly from their universe. It is about capturing the characters, the gritty textures of their journey, and the shadowed environments they inhabit, and proving that these fantasy elements deserve to be seen and felt in the modern world.

To build out a world like this is to believe that imagination still matters. It is a worthy endeavor to help visualize a fantasy story that deserves to be told, and to leave a piece of that creativity behind.
